Amateur – Princecraft
In the Amateur - Princecraft category, the grand prize for the biggest catch of the tournament is a Princecraft boat worth over $35,000 plus taxes.
For each of the six Amateur - Princecraft fishing days, participants have the chance to win one of the six Princecraft boats. To determine the winner of these six (6) boats, for each day of fishing in this category a random position number is drawn, from the daily fish catches entered between 1 and 200..
What counts in the Amateur – Princecraft category is to register the walleye caught as each catch gives the participant a chance to win: 3 recorded catches = 3 chances to win, regardless of the fish’s weight! In the past, a participant who registered a fish of just over 1 lb won a Princecraft boat!
For each walleye, points are awarded according to its weight and length ONLY if it swims away naturally within one minute of its release into the water.
In the Amateur - Princecraft category, women, youth (under the age of 18) and seniors (aged 55 and above) are automatically enrolled in the corresponding subcategory and are subsequently qualified to win additional prizes.
